Fall Cleaning and Home Goods Products

Hello lovelies!

I wanted to share some fall scented products that I love!

First of all, I LOVE fall! I love the smells, the weather, the fact that you can start to wear cute fall clothes like boots, scarves, and sweaters. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I love fall decor!

As far as fall scents, my favorites are sweeter scents, but I think my all-time favorite has to be apple! I love pumpkin as well, but this year I've become obsessed with everything apple.

It seems that most stores are open now, with limited capacities, but online has eben ooming for a lot of businesses! So if you still don't feel comfortable going out to buy things, I will have links to all the products I'm recommending.

Since COVID-19 hit, all stores have been completely out of a lot of cleaning products. I used to clean with Clorox or Lysol wipes, but haven't even seen any since March! I've been hearing a lot about natural cleaning products that are safer for families and pets and use essential oils. Being somewhat hollistic, I do really like safer products and using essential oils.

I have a variety of cleaning products, hand soaps, candles, and body care products that are the best, in my opinion.

So let's dive into this!

Cleaning Products:

The Method Honeycrisp Apple is my FAVORITE!!!! It smells just like apples. I clean my kitchen, table, and living room with it and it smells amazing. I also use it to clean my appliances (microwave, toaster oven, kettle, mixer). You can find this at most grocery stores, Target and Wal-Mart.

The Mrs. Meyer's Pumpkin is the scent that everyone is after. It is only available on Grove Collaborative which is a subscription service for cleaning supplies. But it smells amazing also for all you pumpkin lovers!

The Mrs. Meyer's Apple Cider is also a popular scent for fall lovers such as myself. It has some other scent notes in it, and its a little more cider smelling than sweet, but still a great fall scent. This scent is available at Target, most grocery stores, Sprouts, Mother's, and Wal-Mart.

The Mrs. Meyer's Acorn Spice is another popular fall scent but smells more like the outdoors. It reminds me of poutpourri or Thanksgiving! Also availale at Target, most grocery stores, Sprouts, Mother's, and Wal-Mart.

I know you guys are going to laugh... but the pine scent, original Pine-Sol is my favorite smell for cleaning the floor! I love how clean and fresh and outdoors-y the house smells after mopping with this product! Available at all grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Costco...etc.

Hand Soaps:

I am so gimmick-y that I use a different soap for each month of fall! I use the Afternoon Apple Picking smell in September, Pumpkin Cupcake in October, and Apple and Brown Sugar in November. I love all of these foaming hand soaps from Bath and Body Works!

Bath & Body:

All these scents are so great! I like to have a certain scent for each season. This season I picked the Champagne Apple & Honey and OMG! It is by far my favorite fall scent from Bath and Body Works.

The Golden Sunflower scent is new this year and smells just like sunflowers! I prefer sweet and fruity scents over floral scents, but if you are a floral-scent lover, this one's for you!

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin smells exactly like you would think! I love the sweet and pumpkin-y smell!

Marshamallow Pumpkin Latte has a coffee, marshmallow-y scent that smells very sweet for fall! I don't really smell the pumpkin in it, but if you like the sweeter side of fall, this might be a great pick for you.

Purrfect Pumpkin is their Halloween & pumpkin scent. What does a pumpkin smell like? Imagine that but a little sweeter and this is the scent you get!

Candles:

Bath and Body Worls scents:Pumpkin Pie, Snickerdoodle, Pumpkin Cupcake, Pumpkin Peanut Brittle, Blueberry Maple Pancakes, Warm Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl.

All of these smell just like you would imagine! My favorite of these is the Pumpkin Pie one! Makes me crave all my favorite Thanksgiving foods!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I hope you will buy some favorite scents for your cleaning, bath, body, and nose needs!

Until Next Time!

How to Be Productive—Keeping Yourself Sane

I am somewhat of a Type A person. I like routines, schedules, and everything planned. At the same time I also hate being so rigid about things because I just want to live my life! But I've realized as being a wife, a mom, working, and trying to keep up with the house and meals that there is a need for schedules and such.  I believe in flexibility and room to breathe. Trust me. There are days when I do not follow my carefully planned out schedule. Those days are needed, as chaotic as they are.  Well, I am going to share with you how I am able to keep myself sane throughout all the craziness that goes on in life, as I'm sure you are all aware of. These things help me feel better about my family, myself, my mental health, and just actually makes me all around happier. Schedules This is my command center! My calendar, and my to-do lists-- daily and monthly. I have schedules for the kids, meal plan, and shopping list.  I edit this daily, change out the...

Mom Rant #3–The Stamp Fiasco

As most of you know, COVID has been hard on all parents, especially trying to work and try to supervise your children while they’re in school. Some families are choosing virtual or online learning, some are choosing to homeschool.  Since Rafael is 3, he doesn’t technically need schooling. But as a former preschool teacher I love to have some hands on activities, learning time, circle time, and just some fun things to do while we’re all stuck at home.  This particular day, a Wednesday, I decide to give Rafael some letter stamps. We have the stamps and the ink pad that comes with it. Kiara is a little too young to play with it so I put Rafael on the kitchen table so she won’t get into it.  Rafael’s having a great time, Kiara’s playing in the living room with her toys and having a great time.  Of course, in perfect timing, and just like my life is, I need to use the restroom. And not the fast type of restroom visit.  So I leave the door open as most parents do when...

Mom Rant #4--The Bathroom Party

Josh and I stayed up late. Too late. We could not get up in the morning. But guess who was awake?  You guessed it! The kids were up bright and early. Josh and I stayed in bed. BIG. MISTAKE. After I finally decided to wake up at about 8 o' clock, I went downstairs to make breakfast for the kids. It's Sunday, and we are going to church.  I notice immediately that there are no toys on the toy shelf. "Rafael, where did you put all the toys?" I then turn towards the bathroom. The door is closed. Where are the kids? I open the door.......... ALL THE TOYS ARE IN THE BATHROOM. Dumped out. The kids are sitting on top of them, inside inflatable pool floating rings. I kid you not; the toys were up to my waist, covering the toilet. Obviously, we have way too many toys.  I screamed. "OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!" Josh runs downstairs, thinking something happened. Which, something definitely did. He's in awe. I was making incomprehensible sounds. Stuttering. I was pacing back an...
